Went to Spain, and got some new underpants. Haha, just kidding. But I did pick up a few items on my first Euro trip and stopped by Italy too. My favorite out of the four countries without a doubt was Spain.
Spain (Espana)
Barcelona was amazing. Rich with history, and impeccably clean. Being a fan of the Caipirinha, I was all about the Caipiroska. I enjoyed them all day, every day during my visit and still make them at home today. They are incredibly easy to whip up. Just crush lime, sugar, and fruit together. Then add ice and your favorite vodka! I went ahead and invested in this bar kit.
Very useful! I also went to a “football” game in the famous arena, hung out at the beach, and enjoyed tapas on rooftops! The highlight and must-see for anyone in my humble opinion is the Sagrada Familia. And yes, make the reservation online prior. It’s well worth it. Spain to this day remains one of my favorite places to visit.
